Marathon Digital, a notable player in the Bitcoin mining industry, has made a significant purchase of Bitcoin worth $249 million.
This acquisition follows the company's successful completion of a senior note offering worth $300 million, which occurred alongside a dip in Bitcoin's price to $58,000.
The dip notably affected the broader cryptocurrency market's capitalization. According to a press release, Marathon acquired a total of 4,144 Bitcoin.
