Tuesday marked a major milestone for crypto enthusiasts with the launch of US-based spot Ethereum ETFs. Despite mixed investment flows, trading exceeded $1 billion.
BlackRock's ETHA led with $266.5 million in inflows, followed by Bitwise's ETHW at $204 million. In contrast, Grayscale Ethereum Trust saw $484.1 million in outflows.
Other notable inflows included Fidelity's FETH at $71.3 million and Franklin Templeton's EZET at $13.2 million. The cumulative inflows stood at $106.6 million.
Despite these inflows, Ethereum's price showed minimal movement, trading at $3,451, a slight 1% decrease. Analysts noted the price consolidation around $3,500, making significant price movement difficult.
