Mt. Gox in the Final Stages of Repayment: 70% of Creditors Receive Funds

Bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange Mt. Gox has made substantial progress in its repayment process by distributing digital assets to 17,000 rehabilitation creditors as of July 31st. This follows previous payments made earlier in July.
As the repayments near completion, the price of Bitcoin has seen a significant decline.
The phased repayments are part of Mt. Gox's long-awaited strategy to compensate creditors following its notorious collapse.
