Binance founder CZ has been moved from prison to a halfway house with his release date set for September 29. Although this led to confusion about his release status, it was clarified that CZ still has 38 days left to serve.
Recently, CZ and Binance have faced a new lawsuit over allegations of lax Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) practices.
As part of a settlement, CZ is banned from operating Binance for three years.
