Marathon Digital Holdings achieved a milestone by mining 717 bitcoins in October, which is their highest monthly output since the halving event in April. This marks a 2% increase from the previous month’s production.
The company attributes the increase in production to an energized hash rate of 40.2 EH/s, reflecting a 14% growth compared to September. Marathon aims to further expand its capacity with a goal of reaching 50 EH/s by the end of the year.
In the current year, Marathon has mined a total of 5,734 bitcoins. As of October 31, the company holds 27,562 bitcoins, which includes 4,499 BTC marked as restricted.
