Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, commonly referred to as CZ, was released from a correctional facility in California on Friday. According to Bloomberg, Scott Taylor, a Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesman, confirmed Zhao’s release from a semi-open prison in Long Beach, California.
Zhao had been transferred to the facility in June to serve a four-month sentence. The low-security prison provided a measure of leniency and allowed CZ to complete his sentence in a comparatively less restrictive environment.
