El Salvador continues its active acquisition of Bitcoin, raising its total holdings to $349 million. This effort comes under President Bukele's administration, which has been buying one Bitcoin every day since November 2022.
The strategic buying has led to a significant return of 49%, resulting in an unrealized profit of $13.26 million. Nevertheless, Bhutan still holds a higher reserve than El Salvador.
El Salvador's daily Bitcoin purchases are part of a broader attempt to integrate the cryptocurrency into its economy.
