Former FTX executive Ryan Salame is aiming to void his guilty plea over accusations that prosecutors breached a promise to halt investigating his partner, Michelle Bond. Salame received a 7.5-year prison sentence for campaign finance and money transmitting crimes.
Salame argues the plea negotiations were "unlawfully coercive" and is seeking relief from the court.
Prosecutors, however, have dismissed Salame's accusations, labeling them as "self-serving" and maintaining that no such promises were made.
