The stablecoin market is set to surpass $400 billion, with new projects backed by traditional finance entering the scene. However, Tether's market dominance is anticipated to fall below 50% due to yield-bearing competitors. USDC is likely to gain traction with integrated rewards programs.
The report also touches on US regulatory expectations, noting that while the US might not purchase Bitcoin outright, an expanded Bitcoin reserve policy could be explored. Bipartisan legislation on stablecoin regulations might offer a new framework, providing clarity amid ongoing crypto market regulatory uncertainties.
