Data from WhaleAlert shows a Satoshi-era Bitcoin wallet was activated after more than 13 years, containing 23 BTC valued at approximately $1.35 million. This event is part of a larger trend this month where many long-dormant Bitcoin wallets have been reactivated.
On Thursday, a dormant address containing 100 BTC, roughly $5.94 million at the time of the transaction, was also activated. These reactivations have caught the attention of the cryptocurrency community.
