Both crypto whales and MicroStrategy have significantly invested in Bitcoin by capitalizing on the recent price dip. MicroStrategy enhanced its portfolio by adding 169 BTC worth $11.4 million, bringing its total holdings to 226,500 BTC. Despite a net loss of $102.6 million in Q2 2024, the company's CEO remains optimistic.
A crypto whale transferred 4,600 BTC valued at $291 million from Bitfinex to a new wallet during the market downturn. Bitcoin's price fluctuated between $62,300 and $65,600, resulting in extensive liquidations worth $284.63 million.
Industry leaders like Jan Van Eck maintain a positive long-term outlook on Bitcoin, predicting it could match half of gold's market cap, valuing it at around $350,000.
