Aptos (APT) will unlock 11.31 million tokens on August 12. Despite being a successful blockchain project, it faces criticism for its venture capital-influenced tokenomics.
The Sandbox (SAND) is set to unlock 205.59 million tokens on August 14, which is 9% of its circulating supply. This last unlock for private investors may reduce future sell pressure.
Starknet (STRK) will unlock 64 million tokens on August 15. The project's ZK-Rollup Layer-2 solution aims to scale decentralized applications on Ethereum.
Arbitrum (ARB) will unlock 92.6 million tokens on August 16. The project received funding from major venture partners and aims to scale Ethereum applications.
Other notable unlocks next week include Cyber, Render, ApeCoin, Ethena, and Oasis Network, totaling over $230 million in value. While often seen as bearish, well-planned unlocks can improve a project's long-term viability.
