EigenLayer recently launched its EIGEN token, initially priced at $3.9 and achieving a fully diluted market valuation of $6.51 billion. The token is currently trading at $4.26, marking a 13% increase and a new fully diluted value of $7.16 billion.
The EIGEN token was listed on Binance and other significant exchanges starting on Oct. 1, 05:00 UTC. A total of 1.67 billion tokens were introduced to the market, which included 86 million tokens distributed through an airdrop.
Despite this launch, EigenLayer's total value locked (TVL) saw a decline from $20 billion in June, reflecting possible market and investor sentiments.
