Arbitrum One is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum that aims to improve its scalability and reduce gas fees by executing transactions off-chain while leveraging the security of the main Ethereum network. It uses a technology called Rollup to aggregate and process multiple transactions outside the Ethereum main chain, before submitting batched proofs back to it, therefore enhancing transaction throughput and efficiency.
